Filling the Grocery Cart

During a shopping trip a mother in front of me with small children had essential items: bread, juice, and some other things. The cashier proceeded to give the total and she asked the cashier to take random items off because she did not have enough money. I told her to take the items and had the cashier combine her purchase with mine.

While we were in line her children were asking for stuff and she kept telling them to put it back. I also grabbed the items the kids put down and took them to her kids as she was loading the groceries in the car.

This is a great initiative!
